Portrait of Scooter Taylor

Scooter Taylor

Founder of West Peek — building community, production, and venture.

Bio

Scooter Taylor is a founder, operator, and community builder based in Brooklyn.

He is the founder of West Peek, a platform he launched in 2020 at the height of the pandemic to bring people together through culture, events, and shared momentum. What began as a community has since grown into a multi-brand umbrella spanning community, production, and venture—built to help people connect, create, and move ideas forward.

Earlier in his career, Scooter worked across startups, digital strategy, and marketing, including roles at high-growth tech companies and as a co-founder of culture-forward initiatives. He was an early builder in the virtual events era, helping produce hundreds of virtual and hybrid experiences when connection mattered most.

Scooter is a graduate of Morehouse College, where he studied Marketing. His work consistently sits at the intersection of creativity, entrepreneurship, and community impact—including charitable efforts that helped expand access to clean drinking water in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Today, Scooter is focused on growing the West Peek ecosystem across community, production, and venture—while supporting founders and building durable platforms that compound over time.
